How things have changed! (My doodles while having coffee☕😘).

This information is not to be taken as gospel and it’s not to offend anyone just a basic way for myself to share with others my own experiences. It’s not meant to Offend!!

How fast has life and society changed?
Ok so I feel, I am getting on a bit some 40 plus years ago. when I was a little girl how different life was.
I don’t think this is a large period of time, for the huge amount of change seen in society.
There where more stay at home full-time mothers nurturing their children for longer.
Motherhood and Full-time housewives didn’t seem to be so looked down on.
I am not saying back then every mother stayed home but I know it was more acceptable if you wished to do so.
I’ve witnessed the question from others, So when are you going back to work? This starts when your baby is about 3 months old how sad.
If you don’t return to work society these days seems to judge you as downright odd.
Let’s have respect for mothers!!.
After all is it not one of the most important jobs. To bring up well cared for and balanced people into the next generation? This takes time devotion and lots of love.
I am one of those weird people who’s as you say JUST a mother!
Oh and I home educate as well.
Try explaining that one to some of the public.
Why would you do that?
Why would you choose to spend all your time with your child or children?

Why and why.
A lot of people have told me they go to work for a break to get away from the children and they cannot cope with the school summer holidays and cannot wait for their child to return to school.
Well, why bother to have a child?
I home educate my child. I was so blessed to have him and become a mother.
I also experience his development alongside him daily and do not wish to pass him into a system of schooling which seems to fail a large percentage of children emotionally. Our education system is often talked about in the newspapers and clearly shows it’s failing a huge percentage of children.
I’ve nothing against schooling if your family and kids are happy there, of course, do it. However, don’t criticize my choice because, on the whole, no one gives you criticism for sending your child to school. What on earth would make another human think it’s OK to give you criticism over homeschooling your child.

when it takes time and commitment.

They don’t spend time with the child to develop a relationship or have an understanding of the child’s situation why the child would be better off with one to one learning and cope better.

It’s not possible for all children to do well in the system, it’s one size fits all if your child isn’t that way, in my opinion, it can be very damaging in a lot of ways. There is also no help available for any child with any form of special needs, most schools even suggest these children who don’t fit in the box should be removed and homeschooled because they don’t want them affecting their Ofsted scores.

So a lot of families have no choice but to home school can be tough for those who never thought they would be doing that! They had to give up work and live mainly on one income and pay for all the education learning materials because of course there is no refunding to help Homeschoolers.

Homeschoolers are devoted parents who do this totally out of love for their children, with the hope that 1 to 1 learning, time, love, and life experiences living in the real world will give their child a more rooted rounded development than the very broken system of education today.
So that’s why I home educate in a nutshell.
As a child, I played on my bike down the street most days with the other children.
Today none of the children play out or even speak to one another in passing.
Is technology, computers and TV screen time to blame?.
How sad the lack of play and exercise children seem to get.
Then I start to understand the obesity problems that this generation are facing alongside healthy food being more costly than the junk unnatural foods that many of us have to buy a due to income, It’s immoral.

Fruit and Veg should be cheaper than man-made rubbish.

I swear they are trying to make us all sick
Then community where has that gone? As a girl, I knew all the mums in my street and sometimes they would babysit for my mother so my mum and dad got the odd night out together.
All the kids knew one another and on Sunday a neighbour picked up the kids in the road and took us to Sunday school.
Then, of course, the shops didn’t open on a Sunday.
Retail workers had a day off. Not the 24 hours of convenience spending and spending off today.
Families got a day together how nice!
Well, I will not babble any more as you get the picture I am painting.
Change and change fast.
I don’t believe for the better, in fact, it makes me quite worried and even fearful for the next generation of children.
Then, of course, there are huge problems of a society stuck in debt. The fact we are working longer than the generation before us and for what? To make us physically and mentally sick and become poorer as the years go on? This is something my family is struggling with financially and emotionally and are no longer willing to blindly accept.
Well, we want off this roller coaster ride to remove ourselves as much as we possibly can.
How do you step out the bubble?
Away from the so-called normal ways.
Well, I’ve always questioned everything.
Which I guess has made it harder for me to just accept life and society as it is today.
So, therefore, we are going to try and step outside that bubble as much as possible.

To live our lives the best way that we can with the precious time we have been given. Not to blindly follow the masses because that is seen as the acceptable route. To go with what feel s right for us which naturally seems right at the present time and learn to trust, that with all the ups downs and beautiful moment along life’s way that’s simply how it should be and that’s all one needs.
