A very fresh cold walk on this Stoney beach. The beach was made up of large boulder-like stones, slate and also white sparkling lumps of granite crystal stones.
We all enjoyed a good wander over the boulders and rock pool areas.
Myself being my normal magpie finding and looking for treasures in among the rocks.Mainly pretty pieces of slate and sparkly white granite.
However, I did find one piece of beautiful clear sea glass which had been shaped by the waves into a smooth long pepple shaped little treasure.
My husband also presented me with a gift he found a broken corner of tile which the sea had washed up.
White with red, yellow patterns and graze lines all over its glaze.
Most likely from age and wear from the tide.
I wonder who’s house it had once been in and how old it might have been.
Welcome to you all.
I am Wendy and if you look at the meaning of my name it means to wander.
For a large part of my life I have wandered and travelled to many places!
Living in at least 8 diffrent homes over 10 years, travelling as a single women all over and travelling in vans as a family.
Plus travelling as a family for 6 months while looking for a new country and home to live in and start out lives again in together.
There is life beyond the bubble step out and see.
Here I share my stories, life experiences, my passion for growing food, healthy foods, herbal and plant nutrition, nature ,Travel with no fixed abode for periods of time, as life should be an adventure. Plus simple moments though the camera lens, with assortments of colourful photos.
An eclectic mix of treasures.
I hope my stories and journey will inspire others along the way.
