When you take on some else’s home and land you have no idea what you might find.On first look at the plants and garden you have some idea of what’s growing in the way of trees, plants, flowers and fruits.However I guess you need to do a whole 12 months or even abit more to see what develops and grows in all the seasons.We are so grateful as the people before us have planted a small orchard of fruit trees about 12 in all.However on closer inspection some look abit sickly and we need to read up on the health and care of apple and plum trees.We are sure the plum is diseased 😒 that we will go into more details when we know more.We’ve got about 20 black currant bushes! All fruiting well just hope we get enough sun to rippen them. There’s also about 10 red and white currants don’t look as healthy as the blackcurrants so that will be a learning curve and reading up on.The fabulous surprise of the day.Underall the overgrowth we unearth 3 healthy gooseberry brushes.Which we need to weed around feed with some good nutrients and look after so the fruit hopefully keeps developing for this year 😊.I’m smiling from ear to ear with my happy find of 3 fruit bushes today.
