It’s been a beautiful warm day today, with bright blue sky’s and fluffy white clouds against the back drop of green fields and trees.
Hubby and my son have been busy mowing and strimming the land which is very time consuming.
However I think once it’s been achieved it will be easier to keep on top of it.
There’s lumps, bumps, rubble, plastic, rubbish, brambles and weeds to tackle.
My husbands been wearing ear defenders and visor due to the noise plus all the flies, knats, and flying grass. Today he’s added a tea towel to the fashionable look!! To drap down his neck to keep the sun and knats of.
I’ve found 2 more gooseberry brushes so 6 in total. I’ve been weeding around them and pulling all the grass out which was as tall as the bushes.
I’ve also added some chicken poo pellet, organic fertiliser around them in the hope it might make them keep strong and develop more fruit.
Some of the roses in the garden have opened up due to the nice sun and the warmth of the sun is making the perfume of them fill the air.
We’ve had to have a skip hired as the people before left alot of stuff around which was rubbish or broken. It’s taking a time removing and pulling out rubbish but the skip is filling fast.
The places is starting to look clearer and neat 😊.
