Well it was a sad time watching our beloved Matilda van sell at a loss. Due to the fact she failed the Mot. She would have cost to much for us to repair, plus the garage could nt fit her in to do the welding work that week and we had time limits as we were only able to stay in Wales for 2 weeks.
It was a busy crazy few days getting our belonging home to Ireland.
Like I said in the last post we are so pleased and relieved to have achieved moving ourselves and belonging alone to another country. I myself am very proud of that very determined husband.
The best part of spending time in Wales. Had to be the wonderful amount of time kay spent with our son.
It was so good for him to bond with an older lady who has so much knowledge to share with him about her farm animals.
Amazing down to earth friendly soul.
To remind us of all our lovely trips to Wales.
We got a cute bunny Teddy made out of a vintage handmade welsh blanket. She’s to sit in our home and remind us of all the adventures we took to get to this stage in our lives.
We’ve named her cwmiar after the farm in Wales and kay after our friend.
Cwmiar Kay 😊
