Well after much, and I mean much looking we’ve put in an offer on a property which has been accepted.

Yeah at last.

We got the ball rolling with a survey done the normal stuff. when buying a home just to be safe and check it out.

Well, well it only went and showed up the fact that there’s an ancient stone ring Fort, under the one whole arce of land.

So we talked in detail with the achelogoical momuments society here.

They tell us we cannot ever build upon this land, have polytunnels or even grow vegetables.

So we find a affordable house.

With land and that happens, what’s the likely hood of that happening!.

So long sad faces and loss of £500 in survey reports.

So a few hours of mixed feelings.

We will not let this set back, put us of our want and need to find a home and be as self suffient as we can be.

Never give up.

We will rise and shine again.

Keep going have faith everything happens for a reason.

In the 8 years of my sons life in UK he only saw snow a handful of times.

It’s was always just a sprinkling like a little icing sugar coating on the ground never more.

So today with great great and I mean great excitement!! We got snow the most he’s ever seen and the most I’ve seen also in the last few year.

We had a snow day.

2 walks and 2 snow made. 😉😉

This area has a lake which is the resovior for some of the houses in co Mayo.

We came here for an afternoon walk sadly you cannot walk around the lake. This is because different areas are fenced of and most likely belong to lots of different people along with farm land.

This didn’t spoil our trip because a good old wander around the Abbey its self was very enjoyable and the lake and views were very nice here.

Today we went to find a home Education group.

So we could all have a group walk around the bog/forest area.

Somehow we missed the group 🤔we think there may have been another parking area? We must have gone to the wrong one.

Hopefully we get to met the group another day.

Day we just enjoyed the bog walk and forest areas by ourselves.

Some really cute tiny mushrooms and bright green forest floors.

It rainned but was quite dry under the trees😊

Afternoon visit to Roscommon Castle.

Nice walk around the grounds.

Nice free!! Parking and castle.

Enjoyable place for a short afternoon stroll.

Almost 1 month in co Roscommon Ireland.

In our air b and b.

Some people have said this county is not one of the pretties? Abit bleak and dull.

However its growing on me everyday to the point that after 3 weeks I yes really like it and really am enjoying and very happy here in Ireland.

Co roscommon has been a good place for seeing other counties of Ireland.

Like sligo, mayo and further a field Galway, longford and Westmeath.

So much to see and explore its truly great 😊.

Temporary abode in co roscommon 😉.

We are still nomadic with temporary abodes. While we try to experience as much of Ireland as possible. This is so important if we are to make it.

Our home and country that we will settle in.

We are trying to experience some of the counties of Ireland to get a true picture of Ireland as a whole.

So the next few weeks will be in Roscommon. With the hope of visiting other near by counties.

A walk on the lanes near where we live at present is so different to the UK. No longer do we see terraced houses over parking and loads of people. We see farms countryside lots of abandoned house. Which have their own beauty plus loads of newer housing. The out look is so different.

So the start of another year 2019.

I know everyone says it but how time flies.

This year my boy will be 9 years old so unbelievable, where oh where have the days gone.

Everyday is important and time should be treasured.

I hope this year will be one where we try to share our time together.

Make the most of ever minute of this time experiencing life. Being out in nature and making memories. That my son has forever. I believe when your older and look back on life. Your memories are worth more than anything. They are YOURS no one else’s, something money cannot buy therefore a treasure.

As a mum I hope to make memories for my boy.

I am not making new year resolution s.

I’ve a plan and goal for 2019.

Ive known it’s the right way to live for a time now.

I just needed the courage to step outside the bubble.

Now I’ve stepped outside the bubble I’m half way there.

It’s simple and straight forward really but hard to achieve in this society.

I feel it in me and therefore I will do this.

Debit free life completely.

(Totally not beholden to this cycle)

Show my son love and kindness is worth more than stuff!!

Be self suffient as far as we can!

Enjoy our beautiful world and find peace together as a family.

Not far away from where we are staying is a lovely walk.

Over the hills looking down at the sea and crashing waves on the rocks.

The walk takes you to an old watchtower.

We’ve done this walk many times since we’ve been here.

It’s different every time due to the weather.

It can be covered in fog.

It can misty.

It can be blowing a gale.

Or some days a mixture of everything 😉.
